Field Service Engineer I

REPORTING: Operations Management

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides product installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance (repairs) services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Provides multi-step troubleshooting support on assigned service calls
    Participates in an on-call rotation to respond to urgent service calls outside of normal business hours
    Assist in parts shipments as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

    Ability to troubleshoot to the board or system level
    Experience servicing electro-mechanical products
    Familiar with the use of common service tools including - vacuum/pressure meter, frequency counter, and digital multimeter
    Basic Computing hardware & application software a plus

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years in the Field Service

TRAVEL: 80%+

EDUCATION: AA or equivalent work experience

VACCINATION: Required

RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION: Own car and valid driver license

CAR & TRAVEL EXPENSES: Reimbursed by the company

TRAINING: Provided by the company

SALARY: $24 - $29 Hourly
