Quest is a proud active participant in the United Nations Global Compact. Their principles and global goals are in alignment with what we, at Quest, aim to uphold as well. They include:
Our commitment is to make these principles and goals a part of our business in its entirety, as stated in our letter of commitment:
“We are committed to making the UN Global Compact and its principles part of the strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations of our company, and to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.”
In light of Earth Day, we are highlighting our strides toward making positive environmental global change. Take a look at a few of our main initiatives here:

One of the many outcomes of our environmental initiative was experiencing a significant drop in water usage. Our water usage from March 2021 to February 2022 was 85 CCF out of 185 CCF, coming to total usage of 45.9% of our water budget, dropping more than 3% of our usage from the previous year’s budget. From February 2020-February 2021 we used 49.1% of our water budget.
In the energy sector, we dropped our energy usage by 1.57%. We plan on continuing on this trajectory moving forward to meet our goal of reducing energy consumption by 5%.
Finally, we understand the impact electronic waste (e-waste) has on broadening the carbon footprint. To combat the negative effects of e-waste, our facilities actively recycled over 40,000 lbs. of e-waste in 2021 through a certified recycler.
Overall, our goal as participants of the United Nations Global Compact is to do our part in protecting the principles that guide global sustainability. The organization plans to drive business awareness and action to support Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, and we are proud to partake in these efforts nearly a decade beforehand.
